Elementary Particles

Chapter 3 shows that everything around us is built from a surprisingly small set of elementary particles and fields.

We will look at the elementary particles described in the Standard Model of particle physics. We then go through their properties including the surprising spin attribute.

This chapter also brings in the important topic of Quantum Field Theory which is the mathematical foundation for much of quantum mechanics.
